I am unsure of the side impact rating, but I will tell you that the jeep brand is my favorite of any other car I have ever owned. I bought a Jeep cherokee new in 1991. The jeep is still on the road today and has never left anyone stranded, nor has it ever broken down, etc. I felt that in the winter snow and ice it has been the safest vehicle I have owned.

I am sure the information regarding side impact ratings would be on their website somewhere, or the jeep dealer could let you know this side impact safety.

Wrangler interest. 1000x. a chum of mine had a Rubicon. It substitute into an exceptionally gentle motor vehicle, however the element substitute into extensive and have been given shitty MPG. Wranglers, on an identical time as no longer getting outstanding gas mileage, are drastically greater compact making them plenty greater handy to park. Be cautioned: Wranglers are actually not risk-free autos. minimum risk-free practices from area impacts and that they have an inclination to roll because of the fact of their narrow wheelbase and intense center of gravity. They handle insanely properly however in nasty no count if =).

It probably is so bad it will never have a side impact rating, there are no supports, just thin cheap doors that you could beat off with a rubber mallett

My suggestion is to not pull out in front of anyone. Drive carefully, obey the speed limits and you'll be fine.
