If he doesn't want me to think he likes me why flirt at all?

This guy flirted for a while than was just nice and would make eye contact with me. But when he came over and stopped at my desk I tried to make personal conversation for the first time ever. He acted really nervous. His voice and everything. Then he did smile. Then as I walked out I ran into him at first he smiled but then he acted really weird I was walking ahead he just looked down the whole way. I told a friend about it she said that's odd he doesn't seem to have low self esteem. The next day he looked at me oddly when he past me. Then later on flirted though. But now for the past two weeks he wont even look at me. Unless he has to talk to me about work. Even then he sometimes doesn't. I've observed him with others and he looks at them. Why is he now treating me like this. What have I done that was so wrong? It makes me feel so bad because am I that ugly that he can't even look at me now? Any advice would help thanks!!! I was just trying to be his friend!!!!

I could be wrong but it could be that he likes you more then as jsut a friend. And does not how to act around girls that he likes that much. Try to talk to him in private and ask him why he is doing it or something.

I'm having the same problem with a girl. Its been happening for over a year now. I know that what I need to do is talk to her straight about it, I just haven't been able to yet. It's damn frustrating!

with some guys they thing they say they dont want is the thing they want the most like guys i meet we talk and then they sy lets takea break for a while, i respect their wishes a few days later i get messeges like where were you and what you doing

The guy sounds shy around women, give him some time and some small chat.He may come around.
