anyone know how a 2004 wrangler would handle a side crash (either side) please site sources if you can.

According to the NHTSA website, it wasn't rated for side impact. Ditto for the IIHS site. Those are the two main rating bodies.

i'm uncertain of the area impact score, yet i am going to allow you to recognize that the jeep style is my popular of the different vehicle I actually have ever owned. i purchased a Jeep cherokee new in 1991. The jeep remains on the line right now and has never left anybody stranded, nor has it ever damaged down, etc. I felt that contained in the iciness snow and ice that's been the most secure motorcar I actually have owned. i'm confident the info on the topic of area impact rankings could be on their website someplace, or the jeep broking service could allow you to recognize this area impact safe practices.
