ok guys this is a question if you may be a father or not if you had a daughter or do have, how would you feel if she didnt want you to walk her down the aisle not because she dislilkes you, but just the fact she does like the feeling she's getting given away...

I'm a father of 5 with 4 girls and a boy. I like to let my girls make their own choices, so much as their ages allow. Give them the room they need to learn and grow. Work to understand their decisions, and respect them. That's it. At the end of the day, it not about your feeling. But to answer your question, I would have no problem at all with it. Give her a kiss on the cheek, and send her on her way.

I would not only be hurt but I would be crushed. I am trying to be in every part on my daughters life, even though she is only 2, I dont want her to feel like she is being abandon. When that day comes, I hope that she would feel it is an honor to have me walk her down that isle.

you shouldn't feel as if you are being gived away, coz it's the fathers last time with his little girl before she becomes a woman.

I would do as she wishes It is her wedding and it is important for her that it is done as she wants.
