Man - you can ask a good question - Hats off to you! Dino's were not mentioned in the Bible - but not all the animals we see today are mentioned there either - does that mean God has a flaw - no - this is a question that will be a mystery until the Big Day - Judgment Day.

Everyone assumes that Adam and Eve looked like modern man. It is not likely. They may have resembled what many call cave men. The Bible does not talk about all of mankind in enough detail to describe what was happening in the majority of the world. It only discusses what was deemed important for spiritual guidance. Most likely the dinos were around long before Adam and Eve. Just because God created the world in seven days does not mean it was 168 hours. It may have been millions of years for each day as God's time is probably different than our time.

Well I had the same question for a long time. It depends in which person you ask, the answer you get. But some catholic expert told me that Adan and Eve represents the very first people who existed and how they started doing thing wrong. So, taking this , they could be cave men. It doesn't matter the way they looked or how advanced was their culture. What matters is the fact of challenging someone superior than themselves and the desire to be equal to the powers of God ( Nature forces ).
But you may find someones, that no matter what, want to belive in the Adam and Eve looking like you and me, with the apple and a beautiful paradise.

Your question is one that the hypocrites and religious bigots in this world would rather not be forced to consider. The fact is that live evolves, to survive in an ever changing environment. We could not have lived during the ages of time when dinosaurs walked the earth. Check it out.
We can only exist in a small atmosphere on this planet. If the temperature gets above 100 degrees we are uncomfortable. If the temerature drops below 30 or 40 degrees, again we are uncomfortable.
If we climb mount Everest, we must carry oxygen, because the atmostpher is too thin to provide enough oxygen to breath. The planet earth is 8,000 miles in diameter and we exist in a shell that is less than 4 miles thick.
No my friend, there is nothing in the Bible about Dinosaurs and probably never will be. As far as Adam and Eve goes. Non sequeter logic at work.

They never crossed paths, or so it appears.
Dinos and other ancient animal life go back well over 350,000,000 years ago.
Adam and Eve is the story of the birth of modern man and came much later. We believe this occurred about 202,000 years ago when the older type of humanoid became what we are today.
By the way we see this merging as a glorious event and worthy of any spiritual significance you may have.
In addition the story of Adam and Eve has much to it, but not quite in the same way as the interpretations of the Old Testament. The story reads much different if you factor in the Babylonian texts, along with many of the texts that were left out of the modern texts.

There were no cave men in that sense, Adam and Eve were the first people, those skeletons are not human related and if so science proves they are just messed up people. Expect answers similar to this or containing parts of it. Adam and Eve never existed, man evolved from a lower primate almost certainly, there is no God. Sorry to sound course, its only reasonable. We are not the first intelligent primate and are no better than any other animals.

Scientists tell us that there is more genetic variation in a troop of baboons than in the entire human race. The human race can be traced to a near extinction that occurs around 150,000 years ago. Every person in the world is traced back to a mitochrondrial Eve, (scientifically speaking). Science has also identified an original father as well, Adam, on the y-chromosome.
So, the Bible tells us that we all share a common ancestor and Science tell us the same thing. They only differ in the year this takes place.
As for the dinosaurs, they came 60 million years earlier.

You can incorporate both into the Biblical story of creation very easily. God did not tell His choosen messengers things they could not understand. If God had told the people of that time that the Earth was 4.5 billion years old, what would that have meant ot them? The concept of a billion wasn't invented yet! God gave Genesis has a parable of creation in His great works. It doesn't include every detail and why should it? God knows how to communicate, He doesn't ramble on like I am prone to do!
If you take the Bible as literal and complete truth, dino and cavemen do not fit. Of course, neither do computers and the internet, so I don't see anyone complaining about this issue on yahoo answers.

Adam and Eve - symbolic creation story not meant to be taken literally. Dinos - existed before mammals/man. When dinos became extinct (asteroid, whatever), this gave rise to the mammals and, then, man. 'Cavemen' represent a variety of different species of man, with modern man being the species, homosapiens. Note that big mammals such as the Wooly Mammath, the sabre tooth tiger, etc. existed at the time of man; these aren;t dinosaurs (dinos are reptiles).

As others have pointed out, these are two different stories. Adam and Eve is from the Biblical account of how everything came to be (though it could be interpreted as allegorical, and not literal), and dinosaurs are from the scientific account.
Dinosaurs lived and died out way before humans evolved. "Cave men" is a popular, not currently scientific, phrase for early humans, before humans developed agriculture.
There were living things long before dinosaurs, too.
(I remember being sorely puzzled by this very question when I was young.)
