the tanach is the jewish bible, made up of three sections -- torah (five books of moses), the nevi'im -- prophets, and ketuvim, writings.

It's the Jewish bible, compose of the Torah, book of prophets, and writings. The Hebrew is actually an acronym. Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim.
