Jesus is Michael the Archangel. Revelation 12: 7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out of heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly authority on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. (Revelation 19:11-16) Is it not reasonable that Jesus would also be the one to take action against the one he described as "ruler of this world", Satan the Devil? Daniel 12:1 associates the 'standing up of Michael' to act with authority with "a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time." That would certainly fit the experience of the nations when Christ as heavenly executioner takes action against them. So the evidence indicates that the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth and is known by that name since his return to heaven where he resides as the glorified spirit Son of God.

Just where in the Bible is Jesus called Michael? Why do you think Jesus to be a created angel when He refereed to Himself using the name of God. Yes Jesus created the world just like the Father and the Holy Spirit created the world. Did Jesus die.. What do you call dead? There are two types of death physical and spiritual. He suffered both at the cross Spiritual when the Father turned away from Him as He became the sin of all mankind. And physical when His spirit left His body. If you see Jesus as anything but God you are not a christian. Believing that a Biblical figure with the name Jesus isn't enough You must trust Him as God to do what he promised to do. Give you eternal life through your trust in Him..

There is something you people are overlooking, if Adam & Eve had not disobeyed God, and they had populated the Earth, and spread the Garden of Eden completely over the Earth, if they had did this, YOU would never have heard, read anything about Jesus Christ, because there would have been no need for the ransom sacrifice that He provided for sinful mankind. This person that we all know as Jesus, would never have existed.
Nor would there have been any need for a Book, called The Bible, it would not have had to be written.
So if Jesus would never been born, we only have Michael left as the Archangel.
No, Jesus is not God.
Not Divine on Earth
The Scriptures make it clear that Jesus was entirely human from his birth until his death. John did not say that the Word was merely clothed with flesh. He “became flesh” and was not part flesh and part God. If Jesus had been human and divine at the same time, it could not have been said that he had been “made a little lower than angels.” Hebrews 2:9; Psalm 8:4, 5.
If Jesus had been both God and man when on the earth, why did he repeatedly pray to Jehovah? Paul wrote: “In the days of his flesh Christ offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.” Hebrews 5:7.
That Jesus was not partly a spirit when on the earth is proved by Peter’s statement that Christ was “put to death in the flesh, but . . . made alive in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18) Only because Jesus was wholly human could he have experienced what imperfect people experience and thus become a sympathetic high priest. Wrote Paul: “We have as high priest, not one who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in all respects like ourselves, but without sin.” Hebrews 4:15.
As “the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world,” Jesus “gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.” (John 1:29; 1 Timothy 2:6) In that way, Jesus bought back exactly what Adam had lost, perfect, eternal human life. Since God’s justice required ‘soul for soul,’ Jesus thus had to be what Adam was originally, a perfect human, not a God-man.
“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?
Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?
Jesus is also “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” This does not mean that he usurps the authority and position of Jehovah, who is “God our Father.” (2 Corinthians 1:2) “He [Jesus] . . . gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” (Philippians 2:6) He is called Mighty God, not Almighty God. Jesus never thought of himself as God Almighty, for he spoke of his Father as “the only true God,” that is, the only God who should be worshiped. (John 17:3;
1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven.

In heaven Jesus is not called Michael but is known as Jehovah.
Michael the arch angel created the earth with Jesus and he will and has fought Satan.
God doesn't need to defeat Satan. Michael is a servant of God and a warrior.
Jesus created this earth. Our Father, who is also Jesus' father, spiritually speaking, created the rest, animals, etc. All things are created spiritually by our father in heaven first.
Under the direction of our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ created the earth.
All of Jesus injuries arose with him. There are different manifestations of spirit. Jesus could show his wounds as a result of this phenomena.
We as human cannot understand all things, much will be understood when we are perfected in Christ.

What are you talking about??? See this is the reason that they should have never taken the Book on Enoch out of the Bible. It does not say anywhere that the arch angel Micheal was Jesus, and why not send an Angel to fight an Angel. I think you need to re-read Revelations.

Jesus is never called Michael in the Bible. Michael is the archangel... not Jesus, Jesus isnt coming to fight Satan, He already defeated him in the grave. Michael and Satan are both angels so they fight.
I see youre on a quick road to being a Jehovahs Witness by these questions. But about Jesus only rising in Sprit and not flesh.. When Jesus was risen and his friends saw Him they were scared, and Jesus said this: Luke 24:39 39Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Saying He was a spirit and not flesh means to say He lied to the disciples here. He did still have the wounds in which Thomas needed to see to believe but He was in a Glorified flesh that cannot be currupted.

I have never heard of this. Jesus is Jesus, noone else. He is known by other names, such as The Son of Man, Father, Saviour, Yahweh, etc., but I have never heard of this arch angel Micheal. Oh, and the battle against Satan is already won. Jesus conquered him by His death on the cross. Humans conquer Satan by accepting Jesus and following His ways, in every area of their lives. If you have Jesus, Satan is already conquered. All you need to do is concentrate on Jesus, and you will soar! Understand, though, that Satan is still alive because there are still a fair amount of people that follow his ways. He will attempt to attack you, because you are a Christian. These are his number one prey, he wants to bring us down. But we have the ability to conquer him, and it's through Jesus.
I would like to explain something to you that may help you understand the concept of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You appear to be thinking that Jesus and God are two seperate beings, when in fact they are one. Think about yourself. You have a body, a soul, and a spirit. Your body is you in the flesh, it enables you to touch and experience the earthly world around you. It enables you to last here on this earth, but it will not last into eternity. It is temporary. Jesus is also known as the body in God's three part being, simply because He came to earth in the flesh. You also have a soul. It is this part of you that enables you to feel emotions. In God's three part being, the Father represents the soul. It is this part that enables Him to feel love, anger, hurt, sadness, joy, etc. God experiences all of the same emotions that we do, the difference is that He knows how to deal with them. FInally, you also have a spirit. So does God. It is this part of Him that dwells in believers, it guides them, protects them, and teaches them. It is that voice inside your head that tells you what to do next. It will prepare you for the kingdom come.
Now, when Jesus was here on earth, He was in the flesh. Thus, when He died, only His flesh died. The part that raised Him up again was the Father, in other words, the soul of the three part being. While His flesh died, His soul lived on. The same is true for the rest of the human race. Now, His rising again was a miracle in itself. But the fact that He no longer bore the injuries from the time prior to His death made it even more of a miracle. You see, when God performs a miracle, He doesn't leave the job half finished. He goes for the whole thing. God healed Him from the inside out, being that He was perfect and absolutely sinless. It was, quite simply, a miracle. I hope this answers your question, God bless!

Jesus Christ is NOT God, and when Jesus died, he was completely dead. As Genesis chapter 2 says, when God created Adam, Adam BECAME a soul. It doesn't say he was given one. The same is true of Jesus when he was a human. He was a soul, and when he died, his "soul" or life that he enjoyed, ceased to exist. He was completely dead. BUT......3 days later God raised him back to life. Jesus, as Michael, battled Satan and the demons once, casting them out of heaven for all time, back in the year 1914. Jesus will battle with Satan again, at God's battle of Armageddon. God has granted Jesus the authority and power to wage this war, and it will happen in God's due time.
Now, as for the realization that Jesus and "Michael the archangel" are the same person.....
Jesus and "Michael the archangel" ARE one and the same, and it's not really that big a stretch to come to that conclusion. For one thing, it's quite common in the Bible for individuals to be known by more than one name. Jacob, for instance, was also known as "Israel" (Genesis 49:1,2), and Jesus' own beloved apostle Peter was likewise known also as "Simon" (Matthew 10:2).
The Bible refers to Michael as "the archangel". This term means "chief angel", and note that Michael is known as "the" archangel. This term, "archangel" occurs in the Bible ONLY in the singular, never the plural. And the Bible absolutely links Jesus Christ with the office of archangel in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 where it says: "The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice." The voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel's. Therefore, the scripture clearly suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.
Also, Revelation 12:7 speaks of "Michael and HIS archangels" battling with "the dragon....and its angels." So, Michael is the Leader of an army of faithful angels. Revelation also speaks of Jesus Christ as being the Leader of an army of faithful angels in Revelation 19:14-16. Since God's word nowhere indicates that there are two separate armies of faithful angels in heaven, one headed by Michael and the other by Jesus, the logical conclusion is that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in his heavenly role.

Yes, Jesus is God. No, He is not given the name of Michael in heaven. Michael is truly and Archangel. Remember, Daniels prayer in Daniel Chapter 9, his answer came in Daniel 10, when the angel who delivered the message had to let him know that Michael had to come to the other angels rescue. In Revelation, Jesus is the Lord of Hosts, but not Michael. I am so happy that you have a desire to learn more about Jesus Christ, pray before you read and ask God to help you understand the word. He tells us to just ask for the wisdom on God. If you have addition, questions talk to your pastor, Sunday school teacher, but do not stop asking Jesus to let the Holy Spirit do His job, after all He is the Spirit of Truth. I would suggest you read Angels to Help You by Lester Sumrall, he explains what angels are, who they are, their duties, and purposes, it may clear up some of the confusion. God bless you, I believe in Jesus Christ too

Jesus was fully man and fully God while He was here on earth.Arch I believe is reffering to Michael's position .Michael is one of two of the top angels. The other being Gabriel ..God's messenger angel. Michael is God's warrior angel and yes he will defeat Satan with God's help. When He(Jesus), ascended to heaven after his death His Body was Glorified in heaven.Remember the empty tomb His body was missing from.Just like when our bodies are resurrected they'll be perfected.Maybe not in the same way way as His, but He says it will happen.Upon Death everyone who is saved..their soul goes to heaven. But the body (physical) meets up with the spiritual at the resurrection.Blessings wendy

#1..Jesus is the only begotten son of God...He is a priest forever and is the Prince fo Peace...There is another.. The King of Peace (without genreology) is a priest forever. Jesus is not the true name but neither is Michael the same person. Michael did fight with Satan.
The line in Genesis concerning the forming of the earth and everything in it, preceeds the line explaining the formation of man..In that verse is this statement...."Let us make man in our image".. the emphasis being on the us!!
I have no idea what Bible you are reading but, would suggest you go to the King James version or you will run into a lot of conflict with others who are familiar with that one only.
