If it's a good steak, you eat it for the flavor. Eating it with sauce is because the flavor of the steak isn't good enough.

Therefore, you should not eat your favorite steak with sauce.

But if it's a crappy steak, eat it with A1.

If it's really good steak, it is great without any sauce. But I do admit that when I get to the last few bites then I enjoy a little sauce for variety.
Of course, if it is served with a sauce, I'll try it the way it comes.

NEVER. I like the flavor and taste and any sauce takes away from that. I think only people without tastebuds would ruin a (good) steak with sauces.

I marinade my steak in red wine, garlic, worchestershire sauce and soy sauce all day, and cook it rare. It's totally juicy and I feel that if I dip it in a sauce I'm gyping myself of a smattering of tastes - so no dipping sauce for me.

NO. I am going to eat my steak with sauted onions, on the side, please. I only use A-1 with lesser steaks, that are not fixed to perfection. What time do we eat?
