What would be the intent or point of burning down property? Risking the chance of hurting your neighbors property or perhaps killing someone? Just because you won a million dollars? I don't understand people. I don't understand a mindset like this. If you won that kind of money -obviously you have the ability to move into whatever you wanted. Give the house to some family really in need. I'm not one to judge or begrudge questions that people might ask - but I sure would love to know what was your motivation for asking this one.

Well you'd have to pay 30-40% for taxes, so you're better off selling it or keeping it. Your house is worth quite a bit!

A million dollars isn't alot of money these days..
10 Million and up, I'd do it.
Or atleast sell it.
