A long long long time.
It kills most all bacteria
and it is the end product of the fermentation process so it cant be broken down any more.
Fresh vinegar is best though.

Vinegar begins to lose its flavor after about 3-6 months once the bottle is opened. White vinegar will last somewhat longer.

A bottle of vinegar won't go bad! It will oxidize and lose it's flavor the longer it has been open. A good rule of thumb is if it's been around a year toss it out and buy fresh :-) ***

It lasts for as long as there's vinegar in the bottle - it can't go bad. As long as it's kept in plastic or glass with a lid it'll last indefinitely.

Almost indefinitely. . .till it evaporates. It never goes bad. It's just 5% acetic acid.
