school is starting and my classes are becoming harder, esp. with AP classes and i'm wondering if i should take down my posters, which cover basically all my walls, so that they'll help me study. does anyone think i should take them down so that they won't be a distraction??
will a room with plain walls help me??

1. Do they distract you?
2: Do you stare at them and forget your school work?
3: Are you just getting ready to change, becoming more mature, and wanting an excuse to have a more adult room?
4: It's up to you, but think first. Anyway, you can always put posters back.

No. But you could put some posters that will arouse your dormant brain cells, like abstract/geometric themes. Make a poster for and of yourself and play with the idea of what you are studying for.
For instance, maybe your long term goal is to be a medical doctor, so make a poster that you envisage you as a doctor with the attire and all. By having that poster in your room, you always will remember what you are working for. Too many celebritiess poster around you will take you mind of yourself and into their lives. So you got to decide who is the the Number One in your life. Plus I doubt any celebritie has a poster on their home walls.
Also thing about having a fish tank, maybe a goldfish in your room. Bring movement to your study, fishes won't stop going around also bring some green to your life:PLANTS they are great and you can see they growing.

Probably not. Actually, the time you spend taking them all down is time you really should spend studying! I used to like looking at the items on my walls while studying, sometimes it would help me remember what the answer was during a test if I thought of a certain poster in my room that I had looked at while studying. If you feel it could help you though, it doesn't hurt to try.

You need to study away from home. Go to a local library or to a your student center if you are in college. Leave your poster up and go home and only go into your room to relax and get away. Plain walls will not help.
And you know what helps, a classmate, set up study dates and quiz each other, that helps TREMENDOUSLY.

If you're in AP classes you have the ability to focus on your work posters or no posters. If you decide they bug you - take them down.

Put up posters of the Periodic table, timelines of history and stuff like that. Or just keep the ones you have.

I think u should if u r getting distracted by them. U might want to keep ur study planner or even ur exam timetable in front of you, then every time u look at it, u get reminded by it and forces u to study. Good luck!
