My 13 month old loves unplugging things from the wall and I am in desperate need of something that will prevent her form being able to. Perhaps an outletcover that snaps over the entire plate and has "trapped doors" so adults can plug and unplug things.

I just purchased one at Burlington Coat Factory for my 15 month old. It's made by Safety 1st and a plate screws in where existing cover was. A box goes over top which allows you to plug and unplug when necessary. Works great. Better alternative to spanking which is not really effective or necessary with a 13 month old.

Mine don't prevent them from unplugging, but they snap shut when something is unplugged so they can't stick something back in.
Check lowes or Home depot. or safetyfirst.com

hey! Welcome to the subsequent level of your existence :) It replaced right into a particularly huge adjustment for me! besides the undeniable fact that that's relaxing. They get into soooo a lot problem at the same time as they commence this level. You in reality merely want to observe him. he will move slowly to problem and issues he shouldn't! they're merely interested in it :) some fundamentals for sure stairs gates, bathing room keep the door closed lock the bathroom, lock up chemical substances and garbage can(they love garbage), make confident the flora you own are not poisonous(poinsettas are), espresso table edges, chimney edges, cords, electric powered shops, wall instruments make confident they're nailed to the wall(they change into little spider monkeys hiking on it to face up). that is all I did. that's no longer that undesirable you'll do issues as he receives into them. get exhilaration from it truly is so relaxing seeing them bomb round. he will be so independant crawling to each of the distinct rooms at your residence exploring too relaxing!

I've got the perfect thing for you... it's called a SPANKING. Unless you'd like the little one to get electrocuted... discipline is necessary in a child's life, particularly when what they are doing could injure or kill them. I suggest the next time you catch her, you spank that butt and tell her no.

You can also find them in the children's section at most large retailers: i.e. Target,Wal-Mart,Walgreens and in some cases your local supermarket.

If you are in a pinch and can't get to one of these stores easily they are also sold online, baby/toddler related sites as well as ebay!

Oh, you can buy things that might work. On the other hand, why not teach the child not to do that? She can learn and believe you me, you'll be very sorry if she learns she needn't obey mom and dad.

there's ones that replace the existing covers and they snap over the cord, any toy store like toys r us should have them, while you're at it you should invest in power strip protectors too well worth the money.
