You guys are all nuts! She is 13!! she is a kid!! Why should she have to cook for herself? i can see as a once in a while type thing but her PARENTS should be taking responsibility and making sure she has a good roof over her head and a warm meal for dinner. My goodness. You guys are crazy.
Honey, find something in the fridge that you know how to cook - maybe scrambled eggs and toast or a grilled cheese sandwich and some cut up veggies....

Too broad of a question. What's in your 'frig? Can you cook- or rather, does your mom authorize your use of the stove/oven? Anything in the freezer that you can microwave? Do you have potatoes in the house? Bake a potato and top it with whatever nice leftovers you might have. Example - if you have some steak or chicken left over - bake potato and top it with the meat, cheese and veggies if you have them. I have also taken rice and done the same thing. When I have enough left overs (corn, beans, peas, tomatoes, chicken - I take a big pot, put some water in, turn on the stove and start dropping choppe onions, left overs and some bullion or (ramen soup) into the pot. I always keep tomato paste and drop that in. Voila! Soup. Next time, if you see Mom is rushing - you need to ask her - what did she plan for dinner......sorry she didn't coordinate dinner arrangements with you. Maybe you can call her?

Check whether you have eggs and milk and bread...
<<<<<<< Fried Eggs Sandwich>>>>>>>
3 eggs
2 tablespoon of cooking oil
a pinch of salt
butter
2 slices of bread
1) beat the eggs in a bowl with the salt
2) Heat a frying pan to hot, add the cooking oil into the pan and let it boil a few seconds
3) Pour the egg mixture into the pan and stir fry quickly until it's cooked
4) Spread the butter on the bread and sandwich the egg with the bread
5) Serve with a glass of milk
If you have never used the stove before, you better just spread some butter / jam / peanut butter on the bread and have a real simple dinner for tonight. You would be fine!

First, see what you have in the house. Any Kraft mac And Cheese or Annie's Pasta? Any ground meat, or frozen corn dogs? How about a couple of Hot Pockets or even Lean Pockets and some frozen spinach or can of baked beans? Those are great foods!

Just make something easy for tonight.
Does this happen often? If so, then you need to learn how to cook. Stews, pasta and casseroles are relatively easy to make. Have your Mom or somebody else teach you. I guess the internet is an option, but it's best to learn cooking first hand.
What's up with parents these days? Take care of your kids damnit. Or if you're not going to be around then at least teach them how to cook.

Ever have those pasta things in a bowl where you just add water and microwave? I like those. Check the freezer for something you could microwave or stick in the toaster or maybe even put in the oven for a few minutes. Or you could just make an old fashioned sandwich. Oo, or make something up. (Note: Toxins are bad.)

Make minute rice in 5 minutes, and heat a can of soup. Put soup over rice. Make some Kool-aide too. Find a can of vegatables, and heat that up too, or bake a potato for about 7 minutes in the microwave.

my mom makes a good bean dip. its a pound of hamburger (ground, obviously), 2 cans of chili, 1 can of green chilis (its a really small can, and its not really necessary in the recipe, but im sure it adds flavor or whatever), and about 1/2 a thing of motzerella cheese. u maybe dont need that much for urself, so make 1/2 or whatever. just eat it w/ tortilla chips. and it keeps in the fridge ok, i heat it up sometimes after school.

Try 3 tablespoon of peanut butter stirred into oil with some garlic thrown in. Cook spaghetti noodles for 10 min... throw noodles into the peanut butter garlic/oil mix... mix well... chop some green onions as garnish and serve.... easy dinner dish to make!
Can be microwaved as well.
