I'm unclear about whether or not Sharia (Islamic law) is considered to be what God directly commands us to do and/or not to do.

Is ALL of Sharia from God, or are parts of it dictated by extremist who pervert Mohammad's Qur'anic code?

Wow, no need to type in all caps. Don't get upset, it's just a question. People who get all bent out of shape and hostile over religious questions cast a dark cloud over their own faith.

Peace!

Seems I'm one of the very few Muslims on here to give a detailed answer, lol, and among the very few with a shred of common sense (shoutout to Muslimg, enlight and My_Brainhurts, lol), so hopefully I can help you with your question.

As My_Brainhurts said, God's word (the Quran) is infalliable, anything else (Hadith) is falliable. Sharia (Islamic law) is taken from certain aspects of Quran and Hadith (and in some cases fiqh), making it falliable and vulnerable to misinterpretation and confusion. Most Muslims try to follow Sharia to the best of their abilities, however in certain times, God tells us to use our brains for logical thinking, therefore if it disagrees with or contradicts something from Quran, it is obviously not a law of God.

If you'd like, you can read more about Sharia from Wiki, they're very detailed and rarely if at all are contaminated by bias.

God or Allah is repudiated to be infallible, Sharia Law is fallible peoples interpretation of the Law, hence 9-11 and 7-7, those murderers are not now in Paradise, but the other place.

All religions are open to interpretation, that's how they came about in the first place, the people who wrote them relied on their own interpretation. It's the same as looking at a canvas in an art gallery, many people will interpret the painting differently.

You have a mind that thrists to be filled with knowledge, but it doesn't have to be other people's perceptions, you have to make your own. Have your own thoughts. Not live your life according to other peoples perceptions and idiosyncrocies.

Children don't necessarily learn good things from their parents and parents parents. Rules are to be broken, times change and people need to change and adapt to see how new rules can improve people's lives. Less rules more freedoms. That's what they don't want us to have, freedom.

The God's will is for peace and FORGIVENESS!
In ancient times The God dealt harshly with all because people were still being 'guided'.
With the coming of Jesus all of the old Levitical Laws are null and void for all but the Jews....we are to follow HIS two new commandments.

ALL of Sharia is from allah.

Most of Islamic law has been adulterated by the Mullahs. God has nothing to do with this. Whatever Mohammad's Quranic code was, it has no resemblance to the Quran today. It's sheep following sheep. They love meat of sheep. You are what you eat, when all said and done.

Islamic law is an edition of the Bible as the word of God, made and added to by men.

Forget manmade rules and justifications!!!

Fact : God is LOVE

Fact : We should follow LOVE

Fact : We should do good for LOVE

Fact : We must learn to LOVE each other as ourselves.

Fact : We must stop fighting and work together.

Peace within is only found when opened with the key of LOVE

I think you are here to understand and not bash so that is good. They are one and the same...The Quran is part of shariah and hadiths (actions, sayings, approvals of Prophet (pbuh)) which are separate are shariah.

Quran says:

"Your Companion (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) is neither astray nor being misled. Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire." (53:2-3)

"Say (O Muhammad), 'If you love God, then follow me. God will then love you, and forgive your sins; God is forgiver, merciful.'

Say, 'Obey God and the messenger.' If they turn away, then God loves not the disbelievers." (3:3132)

"Obeying the Messenger is obeying God." (Quran 4:80)

It was developed 700 years after Jesus by a man who needed to raise an army of men.

Islam is a religion of Men by Men and for Men.

They can have 4 wives, divorce on demand, sleep with their servants, dictate who their wives associate with. All approved.

If she steps out of line she is buried to her neck and hit with stone after stone until she dies.

Technically men who have affairs are also supposed to be stoned but only buried to their waist, and if they get out they are free. (Much easier)

This is from pro-Muslim sites, not anti-Muslim sites.

Very few men are ever stoned, mostly women.

Go ogle Islam in Iran, see what you find.

Peace
