If you are drinking caffeine, don't drink it after 4pm. Try keeping your place dark and cool. Also take a bath at night, that should get you nice and relaxed.
You might want to talk to a doctor If the problem persist or get worser.

Try going to sleep at the same time every night. Also stop taking speed, or drinking coffee after the morning hours. I would also recommend doing something that tires you out during the day that involves alot of exercise.

Being crabby is something only you can control. Try waking up in a good mood. You can do this. I did.

If you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep- that most likely causes your body to ovbiously loose sleep. Now, some actions that take place in your body when you sleep- such as dark-light reactions- which are in your cells- to help reproduce themselves and create new cells to heal any parts of your body that can be harmed and also your immune system. They need time to work-an average adult needs 8-10 hours of sleep roughly, so maybe when you can't wake up in the morning- your body is screaming "I need more sleep!" and as for being irratable, that is because you are losing energy- since your body doesnt obtain enough while you sleep- its like working overtime- (crabby then right!? same with your body!)
My suggestion is to talk to your doctor. They may prescribe a sleep -aid such as Ambien, where if you devote 7hrs or so to sleeping, you can wake up in the morning without issues. I've heard this works well, though I don't use it.
Hope I helped.

not enough sleep will make you crabby. i am like that also. i m not a morning person. i love sleeping in, and being up late at night. the best thing, go to bed early and see if that helps, don't think too much before going to bed, maybe listen to some music or watch a music video or smthg and that will take other stuff off ur mind for a while and hopefully will let you sleep earlier. see if a good 8 hour sleep help.

I'm in the same boat as you are, i'm doing a sleep study this weekend and the specialist is somewhere in the ballpark of "sleep apneia"; but would be more specific in the test and that would include why i nap for 3 or more hrs a day which is not good for adults...So they'll check my evening regimen & nap in a span of 23 hrs?...Look into something like this, coz it might be worse than what you think...Also not enough oxygen flows thru the brain or body, that's probably why your crabby...Lots of luck

worry? anxiety? depression? raising thoughts? You should consider taking some sleeping aids. getting rest is very important. so you can be a full functional guy. So why don't you take this issue seriously and see a DR. Or down load some relaxation hypnosis from the net. they sell tons of cd's to sleep. And they work wonders on me. I can fall asleep in 5 min. wake up very rested.

i was the same all thru school, i don't know why, I'm jus not a very good sleeper. There are programs that pay you to study why you suffer from insomnia, maybe try with them? I'm forever seeing ads for it in the Sunday paper. Other than that maybe your mind and body are too awake - try reading and walking more everyday - not at the same time though!

I had a uniform so it replaced into ordinary to dress, in case you dont basically lay out your clothing the evening earlier waiting to leap into. additionally to maintain time I used to bathe the evening earlier fairly of the morning. Make breakfast hassle-free, some cerial and a banana would desire to shop you going, in hassle-free terms a bowl to bathe. additionally I used to set 3 or 4 alarms, the 1st 2 have been set earlier i mandatory to stand up. whilst the 1st one went off all I did replaced into turn on the bedside lamp, the easy helps somewhat. yet another ingredient that's unquestionably solid is to open your window a chink or to place a plant on your mattress room, the greater advantageous oxygen allows you to awaken.
