Yes. It is already changing. Colombia is a beautiful country, and it is getting better every day. Economically, it is opening up to the global market by using free trade agreements. Security-wise, it was unthinkable to even road-trip across the country 4 years ago. Now, you can go from Cali to Quito without a doubt in your mind about the safety of it. If you're thinking about traveling, Colombia has some places you won't see anywhere in the world. The Cocora Valley is one of them. The world's tallest palm tree grows there... at 3000 feet over sea level! Gorgona Island is literally a natural paradise. You can actually see wild monkeys running around the prison ruins. Bogotá is the South American capital of culture. It is the birthplace of the Bolivarian republics and has some of the best museums and parks I have ever seen.

Colombia changes every single day for better. Every day common people get up to go to work and/or school. Colombians know how to laugh at their impossible to solve problems. If a Colombian move to another country he/she never forgets the ones back home and, even though this is not a good economic sign, the money he/she send back contributes to the well being of many. Peasants and poor people support each other and they find the way not to be crushed by the armed factions.

The citizens of the country can become immortal, endowed with superpowers enabling them to perform feats of strength and skill heretofore unseen in modern life. Then, the government can organize a foreign-work agency to lease out the skills of these Colombian 'super-men and women' to accomplish tasks difficult or impossible to achieve in other countries, where the citizens there are not super-poweredly endowed. These services can be offered at enormous cost to the governments of other countries, and therefor cause a gradual lifting of Colombia's economic situation.

Salud
