gatorade tastes better, for one.
i know powerade is a coke product... gatorade is an independent product.
gatorade USED to be bottled by coke, but when gatorade got their own independent bottling company, coke came out with powerade to be its competitor.

Gatorade was invented by people in the science department of the University of Florida to better hydrate the players on the Football team. Since the team was called the Gators they opted for the name Gatorade. Powerade is just some crappy knockoff.

There is no difference, its just the companies. Powerade is made by the coke company, but gatorade was founded by the florida gators when there preformance was lacking. Your question is like asking "whats the difference between pepsi and coke" Realy theres not much of a difference but its just the companies. hope that helps you out with you soft drink needs....

Two different companies. But Gatorade was the first to develop an electrolyte based hydrating solution. Also Gatorade's Orange tastes delicious.

Powerade tastes better and is Gatorade's major competitor... Gatorade has more flavors and products but Powerade is a better tasting drink in my opinion...
