The best thing to do is to make a bed for her in a quiet secluded space. Cat's like a little privacy when giving birth which is why they will search out closets and other places so keep your closet doors closed. Usally once the birth process has started the mother will know what to do and will take care of everything. The kittens will not all come out at the same time but will be born one at a time with a few minutes to a half hour in between. Most of the time the mother will clean the kitten, but if by some chance she's rejecting it just take a warm towel and clean the kitten yourself making sure that the airway and mouth is clear of mucus. The mother should start nursing the kittens soon if she does reject them which usually doesn't happen you will have to get kitten milk at the pet store and feed them with a tiny bottle. every few hours. I 've had cats that gave birth many times as a kid and this never happened the mother always cleaned, feed and cared for them until they were ready to be weaned from mothers milk and on to kitten food. please post again and let us know what happened and tell us all about the kittens how many and colors. Oh and pay no attention to the jerks that posted with a smart @ss remark. Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question and noone can know everything. We all have to learn sometime.

as long as she hasn't been actively straining and is no longer distressed and is taking good care of the kittens (ie she isn't too vulnerable), that's okay to leave her 24 hours. it is not in any respect unknown for cats to offer beginning to greater kittens whilst much as each and every week after the 1st ones, however the possibility there is that if there's a lifeless kitten in there, in line with possibility because of the fact it have been given caught on the way out, it somewhat is going to decompose and deliver an infection up into the uterus which will then threaten the life of the mummy cat besides as killing off any ultimate kittens. the different concern is that if the cat has basically stopped pushing, she would be able to generally be have been given ging returned with an injection of oxytocin, yet as quickly as the cervix has closed this would't be achieved and then she could decide on a caesarean which of couse is so lots greater high priced. base line, for me, i could leave it for as much as 24 hours and then take her in basically as quickly as I coudl gain this without paying an emergency fee.

Try communicating with her and have some empathy. Realize not everything on the web is true. Understand that her computer and email was being hacked into, her house and car broken into as well. Understand that she received no money for filming and was not contacted. Understand how frighting and damaging this all is and how it could easily happen to you as well. Also know this person has committed to change and has some good redeeming traits - including all the great things currently happening.

Don't worry, she'll do all the work, just stand by for the first feeding and make sure she doesn't neglect any of them. If she does, you will have to step in and care for the kitten.

you do nothing cat does all the work. If she ignors them after giving birth clean them with clean towels and make sure their mouth and nasel passages are clear. You may have to bottle feed if mom won't just observe quitely

Get a box. Put a blanket in it. Eventually, she will go in it for the warmth. Put her in it a couple of times. She will do everything else herself.
