Friedrich Nietzsche.
Yes- The poor guy was a misbegotten genius.
His teachings are still very popular in Germany.
I think he, like many other philosophers of his ilk, committed suicide.

Yes, Friedrich Neitzsche was a great philosopher. I am an ardent enthusast. Now I have to attend to my speilling lessons now. :-)

He was a German philosopher famous for his rather Darwinian approach to life and philosophy. His most famous work is "Might is Right".

Yep - spent a good bit of time studying his writings. Too bad the only thing that most people know of him is the line "God is dead" and even that is a misquote.
WhyNotAskDon: He died of complications due to pneumonia; he didn't commit suicide.
