I'm trying to figure out the time difference between Oklahoma, usa (central time zone) and Surrey, Canada (dunno time zone??)

Surrey is on Pacific time. It's two hours earlier there.
Noon in Oklahoma is 10 am in Surrey.

oklahoma is in the central time zone which is 1 hour different of the eastern time zone or EDT. If it is 5:51 EDT then in oklahoma it is 4:51 CDT. i don't know the difference to canada just hope this helps you to figure it out. the usa has 4 time zones with 1 hour difference between each.

what province is Surrey in - Canada is wider than the US and has 4 time zones. 17:51 is 5:51 Eastern (time on the east coast).

-0400= means minus 4 hours G.M.T( Greenwich Mean Time) what the world uses to set there clocks, and EDT= Eastern Daylight Time, (what time it is on the East Coast of North America.
I am in South Carolina and I am -0500 G.M.T

It means, Tuesday, August 8th 5:51 p.m Eastern Daylight Savings Time (4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time).

Surrey is on Pacific Daylight time right now. Later in the fall, it will return to Pacific Standard time.

It means the time reading you gave is on Eastern Daylight Time. They are 1 hour ahead of you.
