Everytime he brags, say u really need to borrow some money but u might not be able to return it anytime soon...but that should not bother him too much ?!

Isn't that the most annoying thing?
Maybe he thinks you are sexy and that is his way of flirting with you or maybe he somehow feels inferior to your spouse and you and he is trying to show off.
I also hate it when people brag about how much they work, etc. I just hate when people brag in general.

Walk away evertime he starts bragging. Or interrupt him and change the subject.
Have you told him that he brags? He could just be happy about it and doesn't really see that he's bragging. Talk to him about it.

I agree with the others. When he pauses, you can say, "How interesting, you have said this before! " Then, change the subject.
If he continues to bring it up, can you say something to another family member to intercede- something like "Lay off the subject, pal, we all know how much you make..."
Hopefully, that will be it. Otherwise, you may need an intervention.

Call in some people from various Charitable Organisations, but dont tell him who they are actually........Introduce them as friends, being a bragger he will start there too............. These guys are gonna chase him for so many days after that , that he will forget about bragging, or atleast not anywhere near you!!!

usually when a guy brags about that, they are trying to compensate some where else in their life. Ask him if his wanker is really small & that's why he talks so much about how much money he makes. Bet he quits talking to you about it!!

Tell him his money apparently is making up for something he lacks and he cant take money with him when he dies.Also quote B.I.G. "Mo' money Mo' problems". Ignoring helps sometimes. Maybe he doesnt have the brain capacity to talk about anyhting else.

Say, "How interesting," and immeditely change the subject to something you would prefer to discuss. He will get the message that it really isn't all that interesting. Or polite.
It would be rude to chastise him directly.
