Can anyone out there advise me?

2003 Nissan Murano, SL AWD
Loaded except with trailer hitch, xenon bulbs, BUT NO GPS, Traction Control, Stability Control and Tire Pressure Monitoring.

The Murano has The premium package and Leather package and Xenon bulbs and a tow hitch! From what I can tell, it has EVERYTHING except the GPS, Traction Control, Stability Control and Tire Pressure Monitoring.
It has 22,600 miles on it and it has had one owner. (female and high heels from what I can tell from the hole in the drivers floor mat...that's what the salesman said anyway)
There are a few cosmetic problems on the interior (the little spring loaded doors stick, the floor mat hole, the passenger sun visor doesn't click into place anymore.)
But the car looks like its been used lightly and garage kept.
The original asking price was 25,995 but They offered me 24, 800. I told them I didn't like the 8. They came down to $24000.
Can I get them lower or is this the deal to jump on?

Check KBB.com and eBay for a good idea of the value of the Murano. $24k for a 4 year old truck seems high (especially if it has "cosmetic problems) to me, but maybe I'm cheap. I would tell them to fix all the little issues and maybe I'd think about the $24k. Used cars are where the dealers make their money. They probably bought the car for $17k.

Good luck and don't buy more car than you can afford.

I can say the murano has been the best car Nissan builds right now. I am a master tech at a Nissan dealership. Other than just minor problems the Murano is solid And costs less than a 30,000 Mercedes Benz C series. Run the Vin# at your local Nissan Dealer to see if the three service campaigns have been done. Alternator, fuel tank shields and rear seat belt protectors.

well i would say dont buy the murano i have one i dont really like it, 1. there are no gears so there are no shifts, 2. to many curves hard to load big bulky cargo, 3. price is a bit high. if it does not have the bose sound system dont buy it my speakers blew 4 months after i got it and i didnt play the music that loud, the good thing about it is it looks HOT, and its FAST

To me for that price i would buy a 2003 benz c class or a 2003 volvo s60. really that car is just not as good as a european car.
