do something to start the conversation....say bump into her or cross paths....then introduce yourself and ask questions...women love talking about themselves....it's one of their favorite things...but be casual...don't look creepy

Well, first, you must make eye contact. Keep it within reason. You know, and then a nice friendly smile. If she responds back, then you know you have some interest in return. Walk over to her slowly and say something like, I wonder if this cd is good? (if you're in a record store in the mall this usually works. Guy's use this line on women sometimes. (it works).
Or if you're at the grocery store, try something like this..humm, You know, I live alone and I am looking for something easy to cook, is spagetti an easy meal to cook? I'm a beginner.
Most women would love to assist you and help you plan an easy meal. Then you can carry on the conversation from there, if you find a female helping you, then you will know that she is interested in you.
Make it sound natural, do not make your intentions that obvious. Most of us know when a man is interested, you just have to have nice game. (but be yourself) and a smile never fails, it always win over on us!!
