Or, put another way, what do you most admire about your chosen church, synagogue, temple, Islamic center, etc? I've left this deliberately vague so it can mean the building itself, the people, their practices, or whatever aspect impresses you most or gives you the most pleasure.

my church is small. i mean, like less than 15 active members. but i LOVE it because of the fellowship, and our ability to discuss and interact in a very intense level. we all get a chance to speak our minds, and learn about the Word together. it's really helped me to grow in Christ..before i never understood what church was about, it was just too big, too hectic, too hypocritical.. here , i've learned to be accepted, and accept others, and be committed for myself, not what others think about me. i also really admire our Pastor... he used to be at a big church, and didn't like who he was becoming (too much money, too much power, too much politics). he changed to started a small church, and then came to help out this small church that i attend now.... his methods and ways of teaching are different from the typical Christian (Dispensationalist?) way, he teaches Reformed....but it is the only thing that has opened my eyes, instead of turning me away. we recently learned Romans 5-8, and it changed my life. i thank God that i came to know of this church thru a friend.. :)

What I enjoy most is that the people in our "church" are filled with God's Spirit (which today is falling amazingly upon anyone who sincerely wants to know Him). This awesome and powerful Spirit of God not only causes the people to love one another like a family, but also to be able to foretell the future, and things that no one would know except by dwelling in God's presence. We don't have any need for horoscopes or fortune tellers because God reveals what we need to know even before it happens. This is the "cutting edge" of what God's Spirit is doing today.

We are living in an amazing time period...immediately preceding the return of Jesus Christ. God is allowing signs, wonders and miracles to occur so many will believe. So find a prophetic, Holy Spirit-filled, Bible Believing Church or Messianic Synagogue near you...and you'll never have to be side-lined by the unexpected again. You'll be prepared in advance for anything that happens!

What do I like best about my Parish Church? That would be the daily Mass and the fact that we have Eucharistic Adoration 24/7. No matter what time of day or night I can go to the Church and be with our Lord and pray. That and we have a wonderful pro life ministry and a St. Vincent De Paul Society.

(Jeremiah 17:9) 9 “The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?
The most outstanding mark of true Christians is that they have real love among themselves. (John 13:34, 35) They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. Neither are they taught to hate people from other countries. (Acts 10:34, 35) So they do not share in wars. True Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters.—1 John 4:20, 21.
this is what i love about the true church, and yes i am proud to be part of that brotherhood serving Jehovah

If it is a severe query, and by means of that I imply you truthfully WANT to grasp the explanations as a substitute of simply bashing the ones with whom you disagree, get out a lexicon and appear up all of the circumstances of the Greek phrase 'proskyneo' within the New Testament (or even within the Greek variant of the Old Testament). It is NOT individual of God. It can imply to worship within the absolute feel, as one worships God, or it will possibly imply worship in a lesser feel, directed in the direction of others of top esteem. Revelation three:nine includes an instance of the latter. Because English alterations its that means over the a long time, Bible translations are mainly up to date to have extra modern English used. This is why 'worship' used to be transformed to 'obeisance' in one of the crucial NWT revisions. It used to be continually understood in that secondary feel of worship, however over the a long time that secondary feel has eroded in widespread utilization of the phrase. See bias there for those who wish, however it is a legitimate purpose and it good represents what the Greek truthfully says.

That we don't exist only for ourselves. My church emphasizes a worldwide focus and urges members to make a difference out there. We don't go every week to feel good about ourselves and enjoy what we have, but to be appreciative for what we've been given and use that to help others.

I also admire the warmth of the people at my church. That is what really struck me the first time I attended. Some churches can be really closed and clique-ish, shunning non-members, those of other denominations, and/or nonbelievers.

My place of worship is my home. I don't go to church. I just pray whenever I get a chance. I believe that it says somewhere in the bible that you can find God everywhere even under a rock or a tree. I have to look it up to see exactly where, but I know I was taught this since I was a child.

I grew up the son of a preacher man and have attended numerous churches. What I am most proud of about my current place of worship is that our minister assumes that we are all Christians and on our way to heaven and teaches us lessons on how to live a better Christian life while we are waiting here on earth. He never uses threats of "burning in hell" or any of the old "Church of Christ" tactics I grew up with. Also, we do not have a little plague hanging on the wall that displays the weekly attendence and weekly offerings. Too many churches place too much emphasis on these figures instead of teaching those in attendence how to live better lives that please The Lord.

I love everything about my church...
I love the fact that no one is judgmental, that they don't teach that God is a hateful or spiteful God, that we don't sit around looking for faults in other religions instead of teaching the truths, and so many other things.
I love that everything is so peaceful there, and that everyone there makes me feel like a part of their family. In a way, we are. We are a family in the presence of God.
We don't believe that we are better or worse than anyone else. Everyone sins. That's human nature, and it has been ever since the fall of Adam and Eve.
I got tired of going to church with my mom and with friends and everything and seeing everyone discriminate against other people because of their beliefs. In Sunday school at one church, we actually were told to get into groups and design projects describing how all the other religions of the world were wrong and that religion was right...and they were so far from the truth it wasn't even funny. How can you know what someone believes unless you actually sit down and talk to them. Everyone has a different perspective of what people believe, but they won't take the time to go to that church or whatever they have. They just want to judge. I'm not saying that everyone does. It's just a major reason why nobody wants to go to church or believe in God...they've all gotten the wrong message. Nobody wants to belong to a church or believe in something when they hear that they're wrong because they don't believe what everyone else says.
That's one of the main reasons that I absolutely LOVE my church. The leaders and the prophet reveal things to us and teach us, but they never say, "Believe us or you're going to Hell" or "Our beliefs are the truth, and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong". We know in our hearts that what we believe is the truth. We're all told what the teachings of the church are, and then basically say "don't just take our word for it, pray about it." We believe that in order for you to truly know the truth, you have to be COMPLETELY open to anything and everything, to every possibility. You have to take an interest in other beliefs and actually know the truth about what they teach, not just what you find on the internet (because for the most part, it's not what they really believe), and then whenever you learn something new, you pray about it and ask God if it's the truth. We get our answers from God. He tells us what to believe. The leaders just set the way and let us know what was revealed to them and what we should ask God about. We never follow blindly. That just sets the way for disaster. That's why people fall so fast from their beliefs. They follow their church blindly, and if one thing turns out to be false, they lose all faith in God.
It's kind of sad, really.

T a m i l (and anyone else this may concern):
We believe in the one true God...yes, the God from the Bible.
Joseph Smith said that he was restoring the church as it was in the old times, just like the Bible prophesied. That is what was meant by "establishing His kingdom". He brought God's church back. Our church has everything that Jesus said the true church would have, from the name to its teachings...
Joseph Smith was not a liar, and you will find that out one day. He did exactly what he said he would, nothing more and nothing less. He did what he was told to do, so why would anyone criticize him for it? Just because you yourself do not see or understand something does not make it wrong or a lie.
Yes, you're not supposed to talk to the dead. However, that's hardly what he was doing or what we do. Baptism for the dead is for those who have died without the chance, or without knowing the truth. We also believe in marriage lasting forever, so long as it is sealed. Jesus said that you are not given to marriage in Heaven but are as the angels of Heaven, but He also said this, that "whatsoever is sealed on Earth, may it also be sealed in Heaven." This means that if you are sealed in marriage by the priesthood, then you are sealed in marriage in Heaven. You can also have your children sealed with you and any other member of your family, so that you will always remain the family that you are.
I know it can be hard to understand, but it is the truth. Pray about it, though. Be completely open, and tell God exactly how you feel. Listen for the answer you get and read the Bible. You'll find your answer. I did.

The promise I have of attaining certain rewards after this life and even in this life by obeying the covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father.
The LDS temples are truly the Houses of the Lord. It gives me great comfort knowing I can be in place where "heaven and earth touch".
