I agree with road_rage_pete. There is no way to guide you unless we know more about the system you are attemping to wire. Is it an addressable or conventional system? Is it supervised with end of line resistors on the indicating circuits or is the wiring returning to the control panel (NFPA Style Y or Z?). Is it at voice system with speakers and amplifiers or a smaller system with only horn/strobes?

I can't properly answer unless you give more detail. If it is adressed or not, EWIS system? etc. If you mail me more detail I will help you, I have installed full high rise systems.
