The way I know is that I tried all of the false gods first. All of them failed me from sex to drug to money to rock and roll. Yes they all worked for a while and then they no longer could be manitained or could they maintain my need for truth. I went from spirits of the flesh to religion and nothing worked. I finally said, if there is any truth out there then fill me and let me know what it is like to truly know what it is like to be complete. With this an overwelming presence filled my being and I have been full ever since. I have had the need to give it away or I felt I would explode. The more I give the more I get to give. It is a Spirit and it fits like a hand in a glove. You will knowt when it comes.

I believe it in my heart. I believe when I asked him, he came into my heart and he is the one and only true God. Emotions and feelings have nothing to do with it. God is a spirit and therefore we have to believe in the spirit and in what is the truth. Emotions move from day to day. One day, sad. Next day. Happy. God does not change. I like that. He loves me when I am doing the right thing - and when I mess up - he still loves me and corrects me and makes me realize where I made my mistake so I can get it right and stay under His protection. I just know He is real, because he is real and God in my heart.

I believe the Bible to be correct and I believe that it must be true because it has had so many dedicated detractors that have been unable to destroy it or it's message . It has reveled scientific knowledge long before it was figured out by science. An example is the Biblical account of a 6 day creation of the universe, that was confirmed by a Princeton U. mathematician using quantum algebra he confirmed the Genesis account. I believe in Christ and my intellect and my heart says I am correct to do so.

What I have found is that God is simply a title just the same as President is a title...
Does the President have a personal name? Or do we just know all of them by Mr. President?
It is noteworthy that yes they all have personal names.....
And again, there are many gods... But the true God is the Almighty God... He has a personal name that no one else has.. His name is Jehovah... Psalms 83:18 reads... " That people may know that you whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all of the earth."
If you have a King James version of the BIBLE, go to the preface of it and read through for the explanation as to why they removed the divine name, YHWH and replaced it with capital letters LORD.. And where ever you read LORD it is referring to Jehovah God... He wants us to know his personal name. "You may also look at Exodus6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4. And see if those have his name in them.." The older the BIBLE the more likely you will find his name in it.. The revised ones have taken it out for the most part... Ask yourself though, why would it be removed when we all have personal names? And also how vital it is to know we are worshiping the TRUE GOD as Jesus said, at Matthew 7:21,22 in the NIV version: It reads in red lettering which is said to be Jesus, " Not everyone who says to me. 'Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in the heaven. 22, Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? 23 goes onto read, Then I will tell them plainly, " I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"
He is making it known that our worship is to be to his Father who is in the heavens..
This is done with sincere hope that it clears up your question... I too was searching and I can only say, that this is a personal choice for each of us. And it should be addressed with sincere and genuine hope and search not for what fits and molds to what we choose, but with the fear of GOD in mind.. And he as a loving father just the same as we love our children and want to protect them, he loves us and knows best for us...
So GOD should not be known just as a title, he is to be known by his Name... â¥

My God is the God to me. Personally, I have seen things and experienced things which affirmed my beliefs when I was doubtful. My God has been there. This is not putting down other people's beliefs either. Peace and Love.

Because I have faith in my Lord. I know He is real. And I have given my life to Him. I look forward to the day I'm with God in Heaven. I look forward to singing in the Heavenly choir and worshipping Him forever.
Praise be to God.
