I do translation... as long as it's not too long, I can put stuff into Japanese for you... better than a website, because machines don't really understand language, they mess up grammar. Just send me a list of the words or names or whatever that you want put into characters, and I'll see what I can do...
At the same time, if you want instant results, well, maybe the online tools will be more accessible. You're still going to need to install the right language pack into word to read what comes out though... maybe you have that already? It comes free with Windows, shouldn't be a problem....

Google will translate anything you pick up off the Internet, but computer translations are fatally flawed. Babelfish is free, (Alta Vista) but if I don't know a word and it isn't in my dictionaries, chances are they don't know either. Babylon you have to pay for. Basically it's the same problem.

are loads on google,
but you will need to get a language pack or similar downloaded/installed on ur computer to handle the characters, its not a big thing tho cos i have one on mine to work in cryillic(Russian), standard windows software cant handle they characters if they are too much different from english,
just try ,,,,translate 'language' english,,,, on google
