Well, it may have violated her trust in your friendship a little. if she was merely a friend...what on earth did you do to force her to turn you down? if you made advances, obviously she wasn't ready or didn't appreciate them. i would drop her a line via a card or ecard to say that you never meant to upset her or put this kind of distance between you. then leave it alone and see if she accepts your apology or not.
