This breaks and knocks down the wall. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Muscle weighs more than fat as i'm sure you already know. I don't know what you have been doing or what your goal is. If you are looking to shed "fat", you need to take a look at what you are eating...calories in vs. calories out. I know it sucks, but it works. When you do cardio, don't run as fast as you can or kill yourself in 20 minutes. work at 75% of your maximum heart rate, this will burn fat quicker and you can do cardio longer. It sounds lame but it works!!! I promise! Your body burns calories and fats different, if you work at a higher heart rate you burn the food you've eaten, then muscle. If you work at a lower heart rate you burn the food you've eaten then fat! It's a mental thing to get over cause you won't sweat as much or be as tired, however give it about a week and you'll see results. I've been doing this for two weeks (per my boyfriends instructions who is a certified personal trainer 3 and fitness manager), and it took me a while to get over the mental aspect, but he's right. I'm a tiny person, not even 5'4" and I weigh 114 and have already noticed a difference. good luck!

You have hit a plateau. Try to maintain your weight loss, and if you need to jump start again, try increasing your calorie intake for only two days, then go back to your normal calorie intake and step up the exercise just a bit. Don't lose all your good habits. Maintain!

Ah, the wall.. We've all been there. Lower your caloric intake or increase your exercise. Everyone has a Basal Metabolic Rate: this is the calories you need to survive (breathing, nerve impulses, etc.) If you cut your cal to just your BMR, you will hit "the wall".

the reason that you arent loosing the weight you want now and its harder, is because first you loose all of your water weight, and once thats gone, its hard to loose anymore. Atleast this is what I know. I would consult a doctor to help you.

nicely you stated you're doing " muscle coaching " you're gaining muscle, for this reason once you step on the dimensions it ought to stay a similar or go up. Muscle weighs more effective than fat.

5'9" - 175lbs is normal... I would check on the body fat to see if there's more room to lose.
You might also be gaining muscles, which weights more than fat.
