I started dating this girl about a week ago, things were going great. She was having surgery and I was going out of town on vacation we talked everyday, she even called me right after she got out of surgery. I wanted to be there so bad but already made the commitment with my parents. Anyway today she tells me that she isn't over her previous boyfriend and she doesn't want to date me anymore. So if you can answer the inevitable question: Why are some girls so cruel? I would REALLY like to know.

Not all girls are cruel. Speaking from "experience" this girl sounds like she was just really confused about everything. Im sure her feelings for you were real but she wanted to be fair to you and not go on with things until she was sure she was over her old boyfriend. Im sure shes really sorry she hurt you and not cruel at all. And maybe you should be honest with her that your so upset.

I don't think it's all girls that are that way because then I'd ask shy are guys so cruel, I saw a guy for like five months, and we were together all the time, even his freinds thougth we rwere dating, I asked him,about our realtionship, because I had developed some and then he told me there was nothing there, and never talked to me again, after beign really mean of course, Ifound out even his friends and everyone who knew us both thougth he had toatally led me on, because he acted as though we were a couple although, he completely denied it, he said he had never been interested and told me to hang out with others, because he didn't want to hang out with me and that he went out because I bothered him and he was just really mean when infact he would show up after work,at my job so we could catch dinner, called every night and always had plans made so that we saw no one but each other every weekend and called so we could meet up pretty much every day, so my question is why are guys co cruel?

It doesn't sound like she was being cruel. I feel that maybe she wanted to have a relationship with you but, wasn't able to get over her previous boyfriend. You have to give her credit for telling you to your face instead of doing something stupid behind your back. Respect her as friend and go on. It hurts but you will indeed move past it. Don't sit around a mope about it, you sound like your still young so enjoy life and be happy.

Well some girls have mixed fellings like in Pirates of the Caribean : Dead Mans Chest Elisibeth Swann has mixed fellings for Captain Jack and Will. But girls sometimes take longer to get over things. I sure she didn't mean to hert you.

listen not all girls are cruel some are cruel and some nowhere near cruel so before you go ahead and date a girl get know her talk to her that might tell you a little something about her and improve your relationship

She probably didnt mean to do it on purpose, to hurt you that is. She may just wanted to know if she was really ready for a relationship or not and since she has been with you realized she wasnt. Be thankful she found out now rather then later.

I don't think she was being cruel i think she was just being honest with you before someone else told you (that would be even WORSE) but maybe she liked you too but she just couldn't get over her old boyfriend...don't take it the wrong way!

My gut feeling is that this is a lie to protect you from getting hurt over the real reason - I could very well be wrong.
The fact of the matter is, for whatever reason, she doesn't want to be with you. The Heck with her, move on - do you really want to work hard to keep someone like that? or someone who doesn't want to be with you?

My friend Clare says that girls r awesome and some girls r just mean. So boo-ya for the awesome girls. So don't give up on girls.
