I have wavy hair, and it takes me about 35-40 mintues to blow dry and I want a faster and better solution-if possible.Well, I've heard that having your hair permanently straighten won't allow your hair to be curled-but big deal to me, I like simple and ready to go hair style at any second-so I won't really care if that's the case. Now, I want to hear your opinion on the pros and cons of permanently straighting your hair, and if you've done it-do you regret it, or do you like it and recommend it, and why?

Well what exactly is it that you are going to do to permanently straighten your hair when you are naturally curly?...A relaxer?...be ware of the relaxers honey....You may want to try a ceramic flat iron, I heard they work really great and they don't damage the hair.

Well I am partial to curly hair but I'll answer. Nothing permanently straightens your hair because you will always have new growth. Do you want to straighten your hair to make it more manageable or acceptable by society? I would recommend you go to a good salon, get your hair done and get some tips from the stylist.

Hey my friend had her hair permanently straightened at a salon, and it dried it out a bit,
I'd advise if you chose to do it, that you invest in some hydrating or deep conditioning shampoo's and conditioner's and some deep nourishment hair mask's, as the hair goes through a lot of stress in that procedure.
But yeh, My friend's result's were awsum and she also had thick hair, She didn't regret it ,
I would reccomend to anyone coz she had very tight ringlet's and to style, she just brushed her hair , put some higloss oil to make it shiney, and it looked awsum!!,. i think it's deffinitely the right way for you to go!!
