Why is it that everytime I try to be nice to guys, they always think I like them...I'm just trying to be nice. For instance, when guys smile at me (or anyone for that matter) I smile back...then they think I want to marry them! Help me...should I just become a mean old grouch?

Yes, all men are pigs and only see what is on the outside. Dont become a grouch, one guy might just sweep you off your feet one day, hang in there.

not all are pigs...some are dogs! You should take it as a compliment b/c they al least think you are cute. If you were a ugly, they wouldn't even smile at you to begin with. Just b/c they THINK you are flirting doesn't mean that you have to respond past the smile you give them. Just simply say you aren't interested and move on.....wait a second, did you just smile at me??? Just kidding!

you're exaggerating obviously, but I don't think that all guys think that. If you smile at someone, most people are gonna think you're just being nice. It's not a bad thing though, they're interested in you. You shouldn't complain.

Look at the person who smiled and do not smile back but, with a slight upward toss of your head, simply acknowledge their hello and continue onward. DO NOT SMILE. Just look at them, sort of toss your head upward like "yeah, hi" and just keep going. Do not smile, just sort of jerk your head to show you acknowledge their hello. It is the smile and trying to be nice that says "Yeah, here I am, I am yours, have your way with me".

i thought i was the only one..dnt be nice to them, they'l leave u alone, but yeh most of them r pigs, evn when being mean they think u like them - their brains must be located somewhere else. LOL
