Don't drop out of school!! In the long run it hurts you.
If school is awful for you, speak to your counselor about alternatives. Get your high school diploma and try college.

It depends on the laws in your state. I believe with a parents signature you can do it at sixteen, but I would not recommend it. You can do so much more with your life if you have an education. No good jobs are out there for someone without at least a high school diploma. It may be hard to see now, because high school sucks a lot but trust me, when you are older and supporting yourself (and trust me this is something that you want to be able to do) you are going to need money, and that money will come from having a job which you get by having an education. If you do not get the education part you are screwing yourself before your life even really begins. You will end up in twenty years having to work crappy jobs trying to make ends meet and living in a crappy apartment that is infested with bugs and telling people that you have no idea why you ever dropped out of school, that you wish you had realized then what a bad idea it was. Furthermore, if parenting is something that you want to do I expect that you want to raise intelligent children that do well at life. Do you really want to have to tell them that you cannot help them with their homework because you have no idea how because you dropped out of school?

In GA its 16 or for you, 1 day older than stupid! Why would you want to do that? Its the only place and time that you are going to get free education. If its bad and you aren't doing good, then see if your state, city and/or county has an alternative school that is easier and has more freedom with the rules.

Depends on the state. Go to the Department of Educations website for your state.
Many states you have to be 18, but some are as low as 16

Last time I checked it was 16, but hopefully you are not trying to drop out. Right now it might seem like school is a waste of time. But you will find out later in life that in fact it wasn't. Don't drop out.

I think the age is 16! But remember that without a high school education you're chances of finding a decent job are slim to NONE!

You can be any age, and be a loser!
But, to drop out of school, you have to be at least 16 in most States, so that you can get a "permit" to work and not starve...
I suggest that you stay in school and get the sheepskin. Its not hard, (at least, not as tough as working for a living, believe me, I just retired last year)...
I wish you well..

Depends on local state statutes. Most states however have an age limit of 16 with parents consent.
