Cancer is caused by free radicals, armed with an unpaired set of electrons, and swarm body tissues stealing (oxidizing) electrons from body cells. Eventually, the causes hypertrophy of the tissue which can be quite painful.

Cancer is painful for many reasons emotional and physical. The emotions are obvious your dying are a risk and the people around are also affected. The phsical happens for many reasons. Many treatments are very rugged, and side-effects(nuasea fatigue swollen joints etc. ) become part of life. The tumours can also cause pain. For instance imagine a very large marble between your lung and ribs that you feel when you move. Other tumours can press or affect different nerves causing pain. While it can be painful my personal experience is that it is best to remember that life is precious and there is always hope.

the reason that it is painful is because the kemo and the radiation brings down the body and it makes you feel all tired and you just want to sleep all of the time, it is also emotionally not just physically painful the thought of possibly having body parts removed can bring down the feeling of being a person... it is i a way sort of hard to explain you have to experience it to be able to know what people go through... you also loose your hair in the process some people do anyways my grandmother did but it took awhile for her to loose all of it and it is barely starting to grow back... it just brings everybody down and it especially brings your immune system down with all of the drugs but science is getting closer to finding the cure luckily... every type of cancer is different and is treated differently so i have only experienced it through one family member that i was really close to but that was just one person and one cancer... sorry if i repeated myself...
