If you have been slowly taking yourself off of it then I don't think it could be withdrawl. You may have just been having a wicked headache. However, everyone's body processes things differently so it could have been a reaction to you not having so much vicodin in your system. You should call your doctor and ask - maybe he/she can get you on a different pain killer.

Not really, the pill that you were given is to ease the pain of the headaches, not cure them. Whatever is causing the headaches needs to be asserted, not covered up. Just talk to your doctor about what may be the problem and mention that you don't want pain killers. Just stick to 3-4 Ibueprofen.

Withdrawal usually happens when you've been taking a drug at a high dosage for a long amount of time and then just quit. Sounds like you've been weening yourself off of it for awhile and you definitely shouldn't be experiencing withdrawal. If it happens again see a doctor.

Really I have never heard of getting Vicodin for head aches. Most doctors will prescribe Maxalt for bad headaches. Maybe you should ask your doctor about that.

yes, i am on the same thing and your body gets use to it and when you try to cut back on it you will start going through withdrawals so it will clear in time on the cut back and good luck to you for it and the headach will last for a few days and you can get ill from it. so be careful.

its withdrawal. In a few months the symptoms will subside
Note to everyone***
It doesn't matter if you've weened yourself off or quit cold turkey. You will still experience withdrawal symptoms. It's nothing to worry yourself about, but visit a doctor anyway.

You need to talk with your doctor. They can prescribe something else or maybe lower to dosage till you ween yourself off the pain medication.
