We'll be travelling by rental car in the Puerto Vallarta area the first 2 weeks of November. Anything we shouldn't miss?

Recommendations for lodging and restaurants?

Well, park your car at Boca de Tomatlan and take the water taxi over to yelpa for the day, you might even want to stay overnight. I would also drive up to Sayulita, great surfing, located North of P.V., maybe 20 miles.

In PV, two places to eat, a great Taco stand that you can't pass up, Pepe's.....
and a fun resturant called Pipi's... get there early though, its 45 minute wait after 6:00pm.
A drive to Bucerias, 12 miles out of P.V, some great little resturants. Sandrina's or Marks...

Hey, have fun.....

the whales start coming into the bay around November - You can check and see when you get there if any had been spotted.
