1 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1-1/2 cups water
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups Minute Rice, uncooked
2 cups frozen broccoli florets
1/2 cup Salted Peanuts (optional)
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 to 7 min. or until cooked through.
Add water, teriyaki sauce and garlic powder; stir. Bring to boil.
Stirin rice, broccoli and peanuts; cover. Cook on low heat 5 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. Fluff with fork.

Chicken Teriyaki
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients
3 whole chicken breast filets
--------------------------------MARINADE----------------------------------
1/4 c light soy sauce
1/4 c dry white wine
2 tb sugar
1 ds ground ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
Place 1 chicken breast half, boned side up, between two pieces of
plastic wrap or waxed paper. Working from center, gently pound
chicken with rolling pin or flat side of meat mallet until about 1/4"
thick; repeat with remaining chicken pieces. In 12x8" baking dish or
plastic bag, combine all imarinade ingredients; mix well to dissolve
sugar. Add chicken; turn to coat. Cover dish or seal bag;
refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, turning several times.
Heat grill. Drain chicken, reserving marinade. When ready to
barbecue, place chicken on gas grill over low heat or on charcoal
grill 4 to 6 minches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or
until chicken is no longer pink, turning once and brushing with
reserved marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.

INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs. deboned chicken breast
PREPARATION:
Mix all your ingredients in a large bowl, add the chicken and chill for 4 hours. Take a shallow baking pan and place the chicken and liquid in it. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for about an hour and chicken is done.

Here is my grandma's recipe. 1 pack of chicken legs or breasts
1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/8 cup of sugar, 1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 teaspoon of ginger, 3 tablespoons of white wine.
Bring all (except chicken) to a boil add chicken cover and simmer for 25 min. turning every 5 min.
Serve with rice.

if you want store bought sauce I recommend soy vay teriyaki. It has a nice kick and lots of sesame.
For a different twist try adding some rice noodles (the really thin ones work great) and lettuce leaves and making wraps. I add a little orange juice and red rooster hot sauce to the sauce to thin it out and add some spice.

The absolute best Teriyaki marinade in the world is
Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki
It used to only be sold at Trader Joes, but its now available at most major grocery store chains. Its VERY delicious! Also fabulous on salmon, beef, etc.

Buy Chicken.
Buy Teriyaki Sauce (at same time as purchasing chicken or at another time).
Cook Chicken.
Pour on Teriyaki Sauce.
To add Japanese effect, cut chicken into small pieces.
