I would suspect it is a quarter mile around. The average track around the average football field is a quarter mile around.

Since your question didn't give anyone any clue as to what "southeast" is supposed to mean, I am shooting in the dark that it is the name of a local high school in some unnamed town. (Are we all supposed to be mind readers?)
