First of all stop your crying. Your hair will frizz up more. I had to go through the same thing when i was much younger. Born with curly hair. I used to iron my hair before going to school. With a t-towel on my hair of course. Did not want to burn it. AND FRECKLES? They are a sign of beauty. Are you aware of how many models have freckles? I have lots of freckles. I used to hate them but not anymore. I was surprized growing up at how many guys think freckles are sexy. As for keeping you hair straight before you arrive to school? Keep your hair tied back and if the others tease you? Walk with your chin up and tell them this is a school. NOT a Beauty Pagent.

I know how you feel, I have super curly hair and dealt with this for a long time. Firstly, when you get a haircut, talk to your stylist and really listen to what he or she has to say about whether or not a style will work with your hair type.

Secondly, you really need to invest in a de-frizz product. After years and years and years of fighting my curls, I realized it's a lot easy to just work with them.

If you do want to straighten your hair, here is what I found to work best. Buy some straightening products (Pantene Pro-V has some good ones for pretty cheap). Use a mousse or a gel that specifically says it will help smooth out and straighten your hair. Put just enough, but not too much in your hair when it is damp, and then use a round or paddle brush to blow dry your hair straight. Then section off your hair and use a sraightening/flat iron on it to smooth it out and straighten it out better than you can by just blow drying it (do blow dry it, though, because that will save you a lot of time with the flat iron). Then use a very strong hold hairspray. I use the ones in the aerasol cans because I find they hold just as well as the other kinds, but don't leave your hair heavy and crunchy.

Lastly, I'm assuming you have relatively long hair. If your stylist thinks a short haircut would look good on you, it might be something to consider. It will take a lot less time and effort to style and maintain than a long haircut. And no matter what style you have, make sure you get regular trims at the salon to prevent split ends that will make your hair even more frizzy.

Good luck!

I have naturally curly hair also and can definitely relate to the frizzy mess! I blow dry my hair straight most days with a big round brush. It helps to put some straightening balm in first (i use pureology but its kinda expensive) and part my hair in sections until it is fully dry. A long and annoying process but definitely worth it in the end. Good luck!

Honey I have the same problem. You have two options. 1. Quit fighting your beautiful & let them go. Curls are still in & many girls crave curls. 2. You need to your beautician & have her order you a "chi" flat iron. This is the kind your beautician uses. They're pretty pricey, but well worth it.
