You sit down to relax, and you close your eyes. In an instant, your mind is bombarded with sights and sounds of people and places you are unfamiliar with, all realistic things happening...like the vision of a woman driving down the street in a blue car, a parade in Mexico where you see from above watching over a young boy stealing from vendors, just the most mundane things, but you just see it happening and know it's really happening. Sometimes, you get cold sweats afterwards?

Also, has anyone ever seen a multi-colored tunnel seeming to be sucking you at almost light speed in your mind? And it takes a lot of effort to break free of this? I never got to the end of it, it was really bizarre.

The first bit sounds like astral projection/vision and maybe a little bit of psychic empathy. The second I'm just going to call the whimsy of the human mind.

The first part, I believe could be called lucid dreaming or what the girl said way above me...astral something. I have no idea what the other part is about. You might want to do research and type in lucid dreaming in the Yahoo search bar or the astral thing she was talking about. If it ever gets weird or dangerous you should try talking to a counselor or a pastor or a clergyman. Good Luck and Be Blessed!

You are having an out of body experience, albeit way too easily for any degree of comfort, I am sure. Wiccan and shamanic practitioners try really hard to learn how to do this, yet you do it so naturally! You are allowing (somehow) your spirit, akasha, soul, whatever you call it to travel outside of yourself, while still keeping it connected to your body so it isn't "lost". Learn to harness this and you can make many people in the world so jealous!
Just be sure that you do learn to control it. It can cause some serious mischief if not managed properly...

Its a dream, you are half asleep so you remember it. I do it all the time. Its a weird feeling sometimes I come up with entire movie like worlds. Id say since you were trying to relax when it happened you arent really sleeping because of stress or something. thats why I never quite make it to sleep.

Wow, it sounds like you have an adventerous soul that wants to travel! Sometimes I get a falling feeling right before I wake up, but not multi-colored. Your soul is restless. You should pray each night/day for calm relaxation.

i get that too.. the 1st part you asked about.
i can lay down in bed.. totally awake.. but relaxed.. and i'll have like a quick vision or dream.. and i will see things and hear things i never had before. such as musicial piece.. it feels like i'm really there..

but i'm also into the paranormal.. but i think it has nothing to do with that..
