Blame the corrupt church leaders and the mindless misguided followers who think they are doing "God's will". They find it hard to believe that all they're following are people looking to line their own pockets or are religious extremists.

I am a christian, but I believe in respecting other people's beliefs. "Do unto others...", per se.

Any religion is good that can develop love of God. There are three stages of spiritual advancement of all spiritualists:

1. A materialistic devotee who think 'I am great, my religion is the best', is the neophyte. He has tendency to fight with others.
2. A devotee on the intermediate advancement recognizes all religions as good that can help people develop love of God. He is not a fanatic or sentimentalist but has firm knowledge and understanding about the existence of the universal God who has many names all over the universe. He is friendly to all different religious people.
3. The top devotee is one who has pure love of God and just by his presence and seeing him even the enemies become melted and begin to feel some spiritual need. The top devotee has pure compassion and love not only for God but all other living entities. Such devotees are very rare. The Bhagavad-gita chapter 16 describes many symptoms of a highly elevated devotee.

As a christian I have never tried to disprove another person's belief, I have only shared what I believe and leave it up to the individual to think about it. We are to be an example to others and I beleive a true christian will not argue a point. Sinners learn from what they see, if they see christians bashing each other then they are not going to want any part of that lifestyle.

I am a Christian and I don't try to prove it to anyone else or to hurt anyone else. And who says we are making trouble for others? I mean what's with the stomping of the Christians? Is what we believe so wrong that non-christians hate us so much? Why is it that non-christians can't just accept what we believe as well instead of calling us fools and pathetic?

I cannot speak for all Christian's, but as for my self I was deceived for years about the truth, then did my own research with Holy Spirit guidance and decided for my self what was truth, I desire to share this with others to give them a head start over my long years of work. this is my only reason, I do not try to disprove anything except what I have already found the Truth.

I'm not a Christian (I'm actually Agnostic), but I don't think all Christians are like that. True, there are some who try to force their own beliefs on you, but everybody does that. I think that everybody has the right to believe what they want, and nobody has the right to dispute them over that. Peace!

I don't know with whom you've been hangin' with, but the essence of Christianity is to "Do unto others.".

As in any religious belief there are extremists and Christinanity has it's fair share.

True Christians don't hurt people and don't go around shoving their beliefs down other peoples throats.

Do unto others, my friends

I think you should pay more attention to what you read. The only ones I have seen disputing things on here are wannabe atheist, Moslems, and Islamic types. A christian has more sense than try to argue. Your mind is made up to go to hell, and evidently, no matter what we say is going to change it. God bless.

Some have lost the point and proselytize unnecessary.

Live the Christian life properly and others will convert on their own free will once Allah or Buddha or whatever doesn't provide what Christianity provides.
