A mentally healthy analytical skeptic who can think for themself.

P.S. Did you hear about the insomniac pessimistic agnostic with dyslexia?

He stayed up all night wondering if there really is a dog.

Technically you are an agnostic, gnostic means knowledge, the "a" in front casts a negative connotation over the word that follows, everyone in the material world at the beginning of life, is agnostic, has "no knowledge", therefore when we are young, we are sent to the school's and universities to be educated, unfortunately that education is primarily established to develop an individuals knowledge to support their material circumstance, for example there are always more students of engineering then there are studying 19th century poetry.

What is even more unfortunate, since the proliferation of empirical science as the governing methodology to establish objective reality, there is practically no education about God and Spirituality, this is most lamentable, as the production of nuts and bolts will not be of any benefit at the time of death.

Confused about religion might be the best description.

You could be in an agnostic phase, or be an agnostic. Alternatively you might describe yourself as a secular christian - i.e. an admirer of Jesus, perhaps while thinking that he may have only been a man.

Well, that depends on exactly *how* you're confused. If you do believe that god exists, you're definitely not atheist. Agnostic means simply that you don't believe god can be proven or disproven, although many people, when you tell them that you're agnostic, will assume it means that you also don't *care* whether god exists or not. The term for you may simply be confused, or "searching" or something like that.

You call it in search of the truth
Seek and you shall find
Knock and the door shall open for you
He is with you
right now waiting to hear from you

Speech is free be careful what you say
Come to know Him so you will not be orphaned
Say it in your mind
Come Lord Jesus
Show me the way
I am listening
Help me to come to know You
Amen
