I believe that most religions are merely the simplest way to give people a complex set of rules for living, based on the wisdom of older people at the time their scriptures were written. Christianity is about loving and forgiveness, but how many "Christians" actually believe and live in the way of love and forgiveness? Islam is about surrendering to the higher power, but how many "Muslims" ever actually surrender? Judaism is about adhering to the Law, but how many Jews don't look for every available loophole in the Law of God?
Any religion could be right or just as easily wrong, but listen to a clue: if your religion does a lot of bad stuff, how can you attract righteous people to it?
I hope I'm not insulting, but I am angry about all the lies that all the religious people tell about God. People of every faith tell lies about God and the biggest lie is that any faith owns all the access to God. No human owns God. This is the one true statement that I can make about religion. Either there is no God and therefore no one owns God because God doesn't exist or God exists and is all powerful and is not owned by any human. Accept this one truth and other truths will come more easily.

I believe the message of the Bible, but I do believe minor details might get messed up in translation but the essentials wont ever be lost. I believe in God as 3 in one, Trinity being Body Mind and Spirit. I believe that Jesus was a real historical figure, claimed He was God and was crucified for our sins and rose from the dead and will return. I believe in Free Will, God did not make us choose what we choose, that is up to us, Heaven is available for everyone who will choose to follow Christ.
I believe that Salvation is through Christ alone, works are an evidence of the faith in Christ, not what saves you. I believe it is possible to be saved, willingly walk away from it and thus no longer be saved. I believe that ALL sin sepperates us from God and though one sin might be more socially acceptable than another, all are equally as bad in God's eyes and no-one should claim someone isnt saved because of sin when they themselves sin every day, just maybe not THAT sin. I believe Jesus will return and remove the Church before God's wrath, but I dont believe understanding the "when and how" is important or it would be spelled out clearly in scripture. It is more important to worry about what you do in today... since today MIGHT be your last.

I believe that I was once dead. I saw my life in a way that made me sick. There was no hope, joy, or peace. I turned my life to Christ. Since then, i have found hope that I have a purpose in life. I have found joy in knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am loved without condition, and for that reason my sin was wiped clean on the cross of calvary. By the blood of Christ, i have found a joy beyond understanding. I know this sounds strange, but if you want to know more contact me at jayjesusfreak@yahoo.com.

I believe in God the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. I'm a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, but I respect all religions and have an open mind to anyone's beliefs while staying deeply rooted in mines.

Theists, nontheists, deists, agnostics, atheists.....
Believe [or don't] whatever you will, just try to live a good life; respecting yourself, others and "mother earth"
Whatever name you go by doesn't change these basic tenets

I believe that there is no supreme being, that all life is by accident, and that when you die you are gone forever. I also believe that the human race has the potential to _someday_ evolve into a higher form, if we don't kill ourselves off first.

You should think for yourself and not be gullible enough to be taken in by organized religion.
