Ring worn on the scalp?

Can you treat this with antifungal cream? Or do you have to get persciption for it?

but it looks like an antifungal cream is not that effective on scalp infections.

you have to get a prescription, My son had it once, and actually lost alot of hair. It was very embarrassing for him. You have to take oral medication.

YOu have to get prescription for it. It is a different type of fungus.
