It's a very popular thing done with most teenagers who are dealing with peer pressure to be cool. For some reason, the schools that I have attented, standing up for God wasn't "cool" unless you went to a Christian school. That might have something to do with it. Also, the way that the world is arguing over religions can sway many peoples' beliefs. To answer your question, yes, it is very possible but I'm glad whoever you are talking about, turned back around again and believed. May Christ be with you and grant you peace. =]

YES, in 1993 my favorite person in the world died while I was staying with him. It was my step-grandfather. He was a hard heased man as are 90% of southern men. he had been sick for awhile but not deathly sick. anyway on Friday My mother and stepfather got married after being together for 8 years and they went on ther honeymoon, at 2:30 in the moring my grandfather got up and was having alot of pain. HE lay on the couch across the room from me little did I know at the time dying. From that day on I told god that I hated him because he took the only man from my life that was there because he loved me not because the law said he could visit me or because he was seeing my mother. Then one year later on his birthday I gave birth to my now 11 year old Daughter. I believe it was gods way of letting me know that he had my grandfather with him and they are both watching over me in heaven. So now I know that my mansion in heaven will be everthing I have always dreamed of because my grandad is seeing to its construction. So yes some thating take us away from go and he knows this can and will happen that is why he sends us little reminders.

Majorly.....I was brought up in the church, even thought my faith was my own and not my parents.....I was baptised, filled with the Holy Spirit......then I turned 15 and thought I new better than everyone else. It took a lot of prayer from my family, even a divorce for me to get my life back to where it should be when I was 35. I had to go through a huge repentance time but Praise the Lord, he loves us so much....he even restored my marraige. Gotta love Him huh?

yes, that's sort of what happened to me. I really wanted to believe; I was saved and considered a born-again xian.
there was so much "well, the bible says so" and "we're not supposed to understand" and "that's jsut the devil talking to you" that I came to believe less and less.
then one day somehting challenged me to decide how I believed. ince I realized that the warm fuzzies I had with jesus as my savior were coming from within ME, I completely and totally renounced my faith.
and have lived happily ever after.

Sure. It is totally natural and actually - I believe it healthy. It forces you into a situation where you really study and find out not only what you believe, but why you believe it. Hang in there.

No I know and believe in the lord and sometime I get mad when I think he isn't answering my prayers or seems as if he's not helping. I know he is there and I know he is real. Never loose doubt. If your a Christian you never doubt your beliefs in the lord.

Yeah. It's all good. As you get older, your thoughts aqbout the world change. Don't listen to these self righteous people who say they never change their beliefs! At one time I believed it was fun to beat people's asses badly. Now I don't think thats a good idea. Same thing. Once you truly get to know yourself, you will know where you are going.
