Any Mammal can get pregnant once it has a period or goes into heat that is the onset of sexuality, going into heat tells the males she is available.

Your kitten can get pregnant during her first season. Its very unusual for a cat to have its first season at that young age, but not impossible.
It would be like asking a 6 year old child to have a baby, so if you suspect she might be pregnant she must be spayed.
You can use a pregnancy testing kit if you can get her to pee on the stick. I think you really need a good book on cat care, the season is pretty obvious and you need a detailed description of what to look out for.
She'll become restless, noisy, and try to get out. When youstroke her back she'll press up and lift her tail, and 'freeze' for a second.

If she is in heat of course she can get pregnant. I think the youngest I have heard for this occurring is five months.

Call the vet immediately and get her spayed! She is not fully grown and a pregnancy would be very hard on her body, like a 12-14 year old human having a pregnancy.

Even one heat cycle or pregnancy greatly increases the chance your kitten will have mammary cancer in her lifetime. Sometimes it can be cured with surgery and chemotherapy (we're talking BIG bucks here). It is financially easier to get the spaying done.

yes it is possible for a four month old kitten to become pregnant. If your kitten does become pregnant which is a slight chance it will stunt its gowth an will not get much bigger than it already is.

as far as I know as cat comes "of age" at 7 to 9 months that is why spaying is suggested at around 6 months old before the cat goes into heat. i hope this helps, there is lots of information on the web about cat pregnancy and most sites are easy to find i use google quite a bit.
p.s. if you are worried... it is best to keep your cat inside at all times and if that is just not possible to keep her inside when in "heat".

YES SHE CAN!!
Have her spayed as soon as possible to prevent pregnancy. If you think she's been bred have her spayed NOW. She is too young to be a good mom anyway

Take the cat to the vet and have it spayed. If the cat is pregnant, they'll perform an abortion on it.
