The Middle East conflicts pit the Jews against the Muslims ... as both groups do not accept Jesus Christ to be their savior, all of them killed are lost to the kingdom of Heaven.

As a Christian nation, we have an obligation to God ... He commands us to spread the word and save the souls of others who have not yet bent knee before him. But what can we do?

What if we offered to give each side of the conflict weaponry in exchange for conversions to Christianity. Each soldier we equipped would be required to pledge allegiance to Christ ... then, when he dies, it's ok ... his eternal soul is saved. And since we'd be equipping both groups with high quality gear, you can be certain there'd be a lot of additional souls in Heaven.

What do you think of this proposal?

First of all, we are NOT a Christian nation. This nation is religiously diverse. Secondly, there's no such thing as saving a soul. Third, instead of worrying about "saving" people in other countries, how about giving them something they really need, like food and medicine?

Offer to hand out more weapons? So your concern here is not all of the innocent people dying... its that they will not got to heaven once they have died?

I think you probably had good intentions, but it doesnt make any sense.

you cant save anyone, neither can the church, but Christ alone saves. Unless He touches their hearts. and how do you know some of the Jews arent christians at heart?

It wouldn't work. You can't force someone into becoming a Christian. I can't just walk by someone who's standing next to a pool and push them in saying, "I baptize you." It's a choice that's made with a change of heart.

Basically you're giving these people the means to kill, so that they may kill before they go to heaven?! Sounds like a RETARDED idea to me
