Of course all the greats, Secretariat, Man o War, Spectacular Bid, Seattle Slew, Affirmed, Alydar, Citation, Count Fleet, Swaps, Nashua, Damascus, Dr. Fager, etc.
As far as the 21st century goes, I'd love to see: Ghostzapper, Candy Ride, Tiznow, Dubai Millenium, Street Cry. If you can't produce a 120 beyer, then don't even think about winning that one.

I wish I'd been alive in 1938 to see the race between Seabiscuit and War Admiral. The archival footage is *amazing*. To me, this was the apex of racing when they pitted two descendants of Man o' War against each other which ended in the upset victory of the century.
For today's times though.....I haven't a clue which horses I'd really like to see race one on one. Tough question!
