Never heard of such a thing! Dairy products are limited to what comes from milk - whether cow, goat or sheep (milk, cream, all cheeses, ice cream, yogurt, etc.)

I know this might sound like a weird answer, but I keep a Kosher home and didn't know about eggs until then.

They are considered PARVE... This means neutral. Not meat, not dairy.

dairy until they hatch, then they become poultry. Isn't it a weird concept? Nothing else changes food groups, at least I don't think so.

No, but they come from chickens so the are technically an animal by-product
