on your desktop, find the 'my computer' icon.. ryt click on it and select 'properties'

the info should be posted on the box that opens up..

sp2 has some security updates that is supposed to, and it should, better protect your computer..

Right Click on my Computer and go to properties. Under the general tab you'll see a System heading. A couple lines down from that you'll see Service Pack 2.

Start -> Run -> Msinfo32 and click ok. This will open System Information window and you will see a comprehensive list of information regarding the computer including the service pack levels.

Press your Windows key then PauseBreak. It should bring up your System Properties. There you can see if you have it or not.
